Solar Poster Maker

Real celestial data. A little room for your own words. Or simply the sky, without a caption.

Observation metadata is required. Images are never matched to a birthday.

Studio settings, including text and coordinates, stay in this browser’s localStorage until reset. Sharing is explicit; links use a fragment.

Made for paper. Grounded in the sky.

Only local snapshots with verified observation timestamps and source identities are shown. AIA extreme-ultraviolet bands use false color; continuum and magnetograms retain their physical product identity. Cached observations remain dated and are not presented as current when stale.

Density and label size are independent. The studio reports the number actually placed when labels cannot fit. Preview and export share the same layout in physical millimetres. Raster detail is limited by source resolution even in a 300 DPI file. PDF preserves star geometry and text as vectors. Turning off the data caption also omits chosen Moon/star dates and locations from file metadata; solar source observations remain recorded.
