How it works
A week contains seven civil days. We add 1,000 × 7 = 7,000 calendar days in the selected time zone, at the same wall time. We are counting completed weeks since your date, not ISO week numbers or the number of Mondays you have seen.
A worked example
For a start of 1 January 2000 at 00:00 UTC, 7,000 days later is 2 March 2019. That is 1,000 complete seven-day weeks, including the leap days in between.
Generated with the same engine as the interactive calculator, from 1 January 2000 at 00:00 UTC.
Why mark this moment?
Weeks are the rhythm of school, work and everyday routines. A thousand of them puts that familiar cycle on a different scale, without depending on the date of an annual birthday.
Precision & limitations
Civil weeks can span DST changes, so 7,000 calendar days need not contain exactly 168,000 elapsed hours in every time zone. When no time is entered, the starting clock time is 12:00 noon by default.
Input dates are supported from 1900 to 2100, up to today. Astronomical events are shown only through 2200. Explore the full Starry Moments calendar.
